OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100

Oeko-Tex Standard 100 is a health label for textiles. An article or fabric bearing the Oeko-Tex label does not contain any raw materials that may be harmful to health. Think, for example, of raw materials that could cause an allergic reaction. The Oeko-Tex certificate thus guarantees that an item does not contain any harmful substances.

You see the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 mark increasingly often on baby products in particular these days. This is of course not without reason, because especially for those little ones, you naturally want materials with as few harmful substances as possible.

GOTS

A product with GOTS certification really is an organic product. GOTS stands for Global Organic Textile Standard and it is an international quality mark that assesses whether textiles are produced in an environmentally and socially responsible manner. The label is subject to very strict rules. It looks at the entire process: From harvesting the raw materials, through socially responsible production to labelling, packaging and distribution - the strict standard for organic textiles must be met.Besides the aforementioned ecological aspects, there are more things that are important; Think of the working conditions.
