At Barefoot Baby we choose materials with care. We want our products to be soft for sensitive baby skin, and to feel good to use with confidence.

OEKO-TEX® Standard 100

OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 means that textiles have been tested for harmful substances and may be suitable for direct skin contact. This way you know you're choosing materials that have been extra thoroughly checked.

GOTS-certified textiles (where possible)

Where possible, we work with GOTS-certified textiles. GOTS sets requirements for the organic origin of fibres as well as environmental and social criteria during production. A lovely choice if you want to shop consciously.

100% merino wool (mulesing-free)

For our merino wool products we choose 100% merino wool (mulesing-free). Merino wool is naturally breathable and temperature-regulating: warm when it's cold, and pleasant when it gets warmer.
